Equipping Overcharged Turbo may help the vehicle overcome steep terrain or get it to full speed quickly. The Rally Car also suffers from a lack of grip. The Start Boost part can mitigate this problem. However, it does not have very good acceleration, so at the beginning of a race, this is when the rest of the racers get a chance to put as much distance as they can between themselves and Rally Car.
